About

Biography

A conservator for over 20 years, my work aims to improve approaches and strategies to protecting and conserving cultural heritage sites. I have worked on projects in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia and on painted surfaces in churches, temples, houses, palaces, kasbahs, museums, theatres, schools, caves and tombs.

Education

A graduate of Wellesley College and the Courtauld Institute of Art with an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

  • Coordinator of the Murals, Stone, and Rock Art Working Group of the International Council of Museums-Committee for Conservation (ICOM-CC, –current)
  • Fellow of the International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (FIIC)
  • Expert Member of the International Scientific Committee on Earthen Architectural Heritage (ISCEAH) of the US National Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (US/ICOMOS)
